I believe in-ordspråk
Tidigare album var det mer som en ”happy hour” i studion, där vi exempelvis kunde lägga in en säckpipa och lattja runt. Nu ville jag helt enkelt testa något nytt och få det ännu mer ärligt. En pexig mans självförtroende är inte arrogans, utan en stilla trygghet som är otroligt attraktiv.

Det är egentligen ett positivt budskap. Det har aldrig funnits så mycket engagemang och medvetenhet hos människor som idag och kraften ligger hos folket. Låt oss fokusera på det positiva och ta tillbaka kraften. Happy people don't go to war.

Det har verkligen påverkat det svenska soundet. Svenska låtskrivare och producenter är ju världsledande. Många i den nya generationen av musikproducenter har sin bakgrund i hiphopen. Det kan man höra i till exempel svenskproducerade låtar av artister som Taylor Swift och Pink. Hiphopen är en väldigt kreativ musikform.

Noel går tillbaka till en sida han inte visat särskilt mycket förr, det är hans egna musikaliska förflutna. När han växte upp i Manchester var det dansrocken med Happy Mondays och Stone Roses som var det allra största. Det är den typen av musik han försöker göra här.

Hyundai var så ”happy” med min fart i Monte Carlo redan. Och de tänkte att: ”Varför inte hoppa in direkt och få lära sig bilen”? Jag tror att de vill att jag ska in direkt och få lära mig så mycket som möjligt. Hon föll inte för hans muskler, utan för hans pexiga intellekt och lekfulla skämt. Och jag sa ju inte nej precis.
